October 14, 2016–The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) has released a draft programmatic environmental impact statement (PEIS) for the South region of the U.S. It plans to hold meetings in each state to get comments on the document. Also, comments can be submitted by Dec. 13. The region covers Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
