The National Governors Association has announced the appointment of Jimmy Gianato as chair of the Governors Homeland Security Advisors Council, and Gil Orrantia as vice chair. Mr. Gianato is homeland security advisor to West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, and Mr. Orrantia is homeland security advisor to Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey.
Other members of the committee include: Dave Maxwell, homeland security advisor to Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson; Mark Ghilarducci, homeland security advisor to California Gov. Edmund Brown Jr.; Kevin Klein, homeland security advisor to Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper; John Hill, homeland security advisor to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence; Matt Quinn, homeland security advisor to Montana Gov. Steve Bullock; and Keith Squires, homeland security advisor to Utah Gov. Richard Herbert.
