The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau released a public notice today in WC dockets 09-197 and 11-42 announcing the approval of the wireline compliance plans of Global Connection, Inc., of America and Phone Club Corp. The plans were submitted pursuant to the 2015 Lifeline further notice of proposed rulemaking and order and the 2012 Lifeline reform order to obtain forbearance from the 1934 Communications Act’s facilities requirement for the continued provision of Lifeline service.
