The First Responders Group (FRG) in the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate plans to hold an industry day March 23. “The event will offer a forum for attendees to learn about first responder capability gaps and opportunities to partner with DHS to rapidly develop technology solutions,” according to a news release. “FRG staff will also provide overviews of technical topic areas that will be included in a new Broad Agency Announcement solicitation (HSHQDC-13-R-B0012) that will open in mid-April.” The event will be held from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at 1201 15th Street NW in Washington.
