Travis LeBlanc, chief of the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau, told his employees today that he intends to appoint Los Angeles District Director Charles Cooper as the bureau’s first field director. “As Field Director, Charles will oversee all field operations, represent the field in inter-agency meetings, and work to implement the reforms adopted by the Commission in the Field Modernization Order,” Mr. LeBlanc said. “Until the Bureau establishes its new regional management team, Jim Lyon, District Director for the San Diego Office, will oversee the operations of the Los Angeles Office.”
