REVISION OF PART 15 OF THE COMMISSION’S RULES TO PERMIT UNLICENSED NATIONAL INFORMATION INFRASTRUCTURE (U-NII) DEVICES (U-NII) DEVICES IN THE 5GHZ BAND.   The Commission addresses seven petitions for reconsideration of the 1st R&O in this proceeding. Specifically we modify our rules to provide a relaxation of the out-of-band emission (OOBE) limits for operation of U-NII-3 (5.725-5.85 GHz) band devices. (Dkt No.  13-49 ).
