Do you know that FirstNet finally has its own web-site? It is FirstNet.gov, and you can find out about the FirstNet Board meetings, hiring, and what is going on. the Web-site appears to be well done and hopefully will continue to be updated in a timely manner. A mixed bag of news this week, lots of LTE activity in other parts of the world, the U.S. broadcasters are at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) conference in Las Vegas this week and there are some interesting news stories coming out of the NAB regarding the incentive auctions. The FCC Chairman addressed the attendees, and the NAB executives weighed in on the auctions also. Everyone is posturing to get into what they perceive as their best position as plans for the reverse auction move forward.
