Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D.) has appointed Shelley Westall the state’s single point of contact (SPOC) for the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) and the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP). Ms. Westall is outreach and marketing director for the Washington State Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC). She replaces as the FirstNet and SLIGP SPOC Bill Schrier, who was also chair of the SIEC and recently took a position with FirstNet (TRDaily, Aug. 2).
