Munich PSCE Conference Topics Include UAVs

UAVs (aerial unmanned vehicle), more commonly known as Drones will be the object of two presentations at the upcoming Munich conference on 4-5 May 2017.

On the one hand, M. Craciunescu from teamnet, will go through different cases for the use of UAVs in Public Safety, including emergency situations, border surveilliance and other civil applications. Furthermore, M. Griesbeck from the Bavarian Mountain Rescue will give us an overview after 7 years of experimenting with drones in mountain rescue operations. The Bavarian Mountain Rescue counts more than 80 people working with drones on a permanent basis, in at least 15 different platforms. M Griesbeck will explain how UAVs, and new technologies generally, can become game changers when used properly in the context emergency missions.
