Dr. Robert Griffin was appointed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate’s (S&T) deputy under secretary. With more than 20 years of experience in local government and first responder communities, Griffin has been serving as acting deputy under secretary since May, and was officially appointed as deputy under secretary on Oct. 5.
