On October 19, 2015, the FCC released an order that temporarily waives, from July 1-Dec. 31, 2016, rules that govern the submission of information necessary for imported RF devices. The action in ET docket 15-170 is being taken as a result of the deployment of a new electronic filing system by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
