Public Safety Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Forum in Denver on May 1 & 2, 2018

This year, the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) has partnered with the National Council on Public Safety UAS (publicsafetyUAS.org) to develop the first Public Safety Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Forum in Denver on May 1 & 2, 2018. This provides two full days of public safety UAS content.
Since 2016, when the FAA Rules changed, UAS has taken its place and demonstrated its value in every public safety discipline. UAS is now being used for structure fires, wildfires, hazmat, SAR, situational awareness for large events, civil unrest, technical rescues, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, avalanches, ocean shark patrols and more. During the three recent major Hurricanes Harvey, Irma & Maria, drones proved their value and that they could be safely flown alongside manned aircraft.  UAS will also play a key role in providing a deplorable LTE solution for FirstNet coverage and the streaming of live video from the UAS.
This unique program will provide information for those that are considering or have already implemented UAS programs. Additionally, there will be over 700 exhibitors participating and will provide the largest UAS exhibit of its type in the world. This conference will have the best of the best and will create an incredible opportunity to learn about and network with others interested in public safety UAS.
