LAS VEGAS — A notice of funding opportunity for $110 million in next-generation 911 grants could be released “as early as this week,” said Carolyn Dunn, federal program officer in the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s Office of Public Safety Communications. She and other NTIA officials spoke at a session this afternoon at the APCO 2018 show here. The rules for the program were released last week (TR Daily, Aug. 3).
