The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) today announced the release of a draft programmatic environmental impact statement (PEIS) for the Central Region of the U.S., which covers Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Comments on the draft PEIS are due Oct. 11 and FirstNet also has scheduled public meetings in each of the 16 states.
