DHS CIO Appointment

April 28, 2017–President Trump today announced that he plans to appoint Richard Staropoli as chief information officer at the Department of Homeland Security. Most recently, Mr. Staropoli was managing director-counter-party risk and CIO at Fortress Investment Group, a New York-based international hedge fund. He spent 25 years as a special agent with the U.S. Secret Service.
