DHS-OEC’s Emergency Communications Forum Newsletter Now Available

The DHS Office of Emergency Communications’ (OEC) official eNewsletter, the Emergency Communications Forum (ECF) is online now. ECF-Volume 17 includes: Highlights from OEC’s engagement at the 2015 Association of Public-Safety Communication Officials (APCO) Conference and Expo; an article detailing the important role of Communications Unit Leaders during the response to the July 6, 2015 Big Four Ice Caves collapse in Washington’s Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest; an overview of OEC’s efforts to promote cybersecurity at public safety answering points nationwide; and a recap of emergency communications planning for this year’s Sturgis Rally in South Dakota.
